El Segundo, CA - The Los Angeles Bruins, have announced today via Twitter that they have selected twenty-two year old shortstop, Jong-Min Kim; out of Seoul, South Korea with their first round pick in the VBL6 draft.
Jong-Min Kim just turned twenty-two on the eleventh of November, has tons of potential and will anchor Los Angeles' infield for years to come. Kim boasts a plus glove, and Los Angeles' scouts all agree he has a chance to be a elite and illustrious player should be remain injury free through-out his career.
While many within the organization were leaning towards taking a starting pitcher with the teams first round pick; the Bruins drew number twenty-one and the five or six elite starters were off the board (which is when they turned their focus on Bong).
Given Los Angeles' very diverse community, the Bruins have not only selected someone they can relate with; but help them sell tickets as baseball has always been huge among the Asian community in the greater Los Angeles area. Given Kim's ability's and marketability this choice really was a no brainer.
Los Angeles is only fourteen draft choices away from drafting another player to their franchise.

Los Angeles Bruins reveal jersey apperance...
El Segundo, CA - The Los Angeles Bruins at a press conference earlier in the day unveiled their uniforms for Opening Day in the VBL6.
The jersey consists of a gold hat with the teams logo on top of it, with white pants, a white jersey top featuring gold trim - with the teams name in cursive blue across the center of the jersey.

VBL6 adds a team in Los Angeles...
El Segundo, CA - The Los Angeles Times has caught wind that the newly formed, VBL6 has signed a deal to bring a team to the greater Los Angeles area.
Mike “The Real Deal” Brouillette, (whose better known as the twenty five year old playboy whose starred in many Hollywood Blockbusters, while breaking the hearts of many starlets from Jessica Alba, Jennifer Love Hewitt, to Scarlett Johansson; while also having a widely publicized fling with Betty White; of Golden Girls fame) resides in Los Angeles, California – and is the grandson of Duke Snider who was elected to the professional baseball hall of fame in 1980.
Mike before hitting Hollywood, left UCLA before graduating in the fall of 2005 to pursue a career in acting and hand modeling; though rumors ran rampid it was necessary and Mike himself later admitted in fall of 2007 he had admitted himself into drug rehab.
Aside from his widely publicized antics, Mike has often been known as one of the biggest fans of the game and if it has been known in many baseball circles his mind for the game cannot be questioned.
Sitting on a bank account that we estimate reaches the high nine figures – the formation of the VBL6 gave Mike the chance he had been waiting for. The chance to own a professional ball club, oversee it's day to date operations and do what he does best... defy the odds.
Mike has said via his blog that not only will he own the team, but he will handle the entire organization from top to bottom. A daunting task for anyone. Thus, the Los Angeles Bruins have arrived – a proud, and eager member of the VBL6. Let's play ball.
